Convolution of spectral mappings. (English) Zbl 0805.46045
Topology, measures, and fractals, Proc. 6th Conf. Topology Meas., Warnemünde/ Ger. 1991, Math. Res. 66, 9-14 (1992).
Summary: We consider the problem of defining a convolution of spectral mappings defined on a compact semigroup and taking values in a locally convex algebra. We define a convolution having some properties, analogous to the classical convolution of scalar measures and that of spectral measures in Hilbert space setting.
