A countably compact topological group which is not absolutely countably compact. (English) Zbl 0808.54025
We give a simple example to distinguish ‘countably compact’ and ‘absolutely countably compact’ in the class of topological groups. This group is a dense subgroup of \(D^{\omega_ 1}\).
