Quasilinear degenerate elliptic variational inequalities with discontinuous coefficients. (English) Zbl 0823.35067

Commentat. Math. Univ. Carol. 34, No. 1, 55-61 (1993).

The author proves existence of a solution to a quasilinear degenerate elliptic variational inequality in a weighted Sobolev space. The coefficients of the quasilinear operator are assumed to satisfy a condition weaker than the usual Carathéodory condition.
