Malgrange, Bernard Meromorphic connections. II: The canonic grid. (Connexions méromorphes. II: Le réseau canonique.) (French) Zbl 0849.32003 Invent. Math. 124, No. 1-3, 367-387 (1996). The author provides a complete proof of the existence of a canonical lattice for meromorphic connections, and more generally for formal meromorphic connections. This important result provides many useful applications which have been established in previous papers. Also he shows the existence of a good formal decomposition of a meromorphic connection, the “most polar part” of which is regular in some suitable basis.[For part I see Lond. Math. Soc. Lect.
