Boundary stabilization, observation and control of Maxwell’s equations. (English) Zbl 0849.35136

This paper is devoted to the boundary stabilization, observability and exact controllability of Maxwell’s equations \[ E'- \text{curl } H= H'+ \text{curl } E= 0,\;\text{div } E= \text{div } H= 0\quad \text{in } \Omega\times (0, + \infty), \] \(E(0)= E^0\) and \(H(0)= H^0\) in \(\Omega\), where \(\Omega\) is a bounded open domain in \(\mathbb{R}^3\), under suitable boundary conditions. We assume that \(\Omega\) has a boundary \(\Gamma\) of class \(C^1\).
