The author gives a brief review of a modified concept of Calabi-Yau manifolds. These new manifolds form a special class of approximate solutions to the classical string equations of motion. From the geometric viewpoint these spaces are bihermitian manifolds admitting a natural connection with torsion and a complex local product structure. The superspace formalism for these manifolds is described. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0816.00010].
