Berestycki, H.; Bonnet, A.; Chapman, S. J. A semi-elliptic system arising in the theory of type-II superconductivity. (English) Zbl 0866.35030 Commun. Appl. Nonlinear Anal. 1, No. 3, 1-21 (1994). The aim of the paper is to consider the existence and stability of the wholly superconducting solution for an arbitrary sample in two dimensions. The position of the maximum of the current density is also studied. Finally, a more complete study of the one-dimensional and radially symmetric cases are presented.
