The paper deals with some very general properties of relay systems. State spaces are studied for hysteresis nonlinearities representable by nonideal relay systems. It is determined that variable external actions of a sufficiently general type carry arbitrary initial states of such systems into normal states. Five theorems confirming this property are proved.
