Summary: We discuss the resolution of a steady advection-diffusion problem in \(\mathbb{R}^3\) using domain decomposition methods with nonmatching grids. A major point in this analysis consists in establishing an optimal upper bound for the error in \(H^1\) norm. This strategy permits to use parallel machines for computing viscous flows.
