Arvanitis, K. G. An indirect model reference adaptive controller based on the multirate sampling of the plant output. (English) Zbl 0876.93056 Int. J. Adapt. Control Signal Process. 10, No. 6, 673-705 (1996). The author investigates the use of sampled-data multirate-output controllers for model reference adaptive control problem of possibly nonstably invertible linear systems with unknown parameters. The technique presented in the paper in order to solve the discrete model reference adaptive control problem of continuous-time linear multi-input, multi-output time-invariant systems, is based on an indirect adaptive control scheme. This scheme has the same advantages as that proposed by the author for the case of single-input, single-output systems in [Appl. Math. Comput. Sci. 6, 667-706 (1996; Zbl 0867.93048)], see also the corresponding review.
