Introduction to fuzzy reliability. (English) Zbl 0877.68006
The Kluwer International Series in Engineering and Computer Science. 363. Boston, MA: Kluwer Academic Publishers. xvi, 311 p. (1996).
The basic elements of fuzzy reliability theory are given. Some of its applications for describing the behaviour of engineering systems are discussed. Connections between this theory and the system lifetimes and system states are shown. Some open problems are formulated.
