The spectral decomposition of nonsymmetric matrices on distributed memory parallel computers. (English) Zbl 0890.65034
Very practical and useful paper on the subject of the title. Discussion of the method based on the matrix sign function and (inverse free) Newton, so that standard libraries (ScaLAPACK) can be used. Numerical tests on Intel Delta and on a CM-5 are presented. A graphical user interface is added.
