On a criterion for the existence of at least four solutions to functional boundary value problems. (English) Zbl 0914.34063
Existence and multiplicity of solutions to a certain functional boundary value problem for second-order functional-differential equations are studied. Sufficient conditions for the existence of at least four solutions are given. These criteria are derived by means of the Bihari lemma, the topological homotopy method, the Leray Schauder degree and Borsuk theorem.
