A source-type exact solution in the model with a central attracting body in Newtonian and relativistic gas dynamics. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0918.76097

The author studies the problem of dynamics of gravitating gas. For the spherically symmetric flow from the point source (central attracting body of mass \(M\)), an exact solution of the problem is proposed. The solution is obtained in the framework of Newtonian and relativistic gas dynamics. The value of polytropic exponent \(N=3/2\) is considered in the polytropic law \(p=A\rho^N\). The solution of the problem is discussed for the stellar wind.
