Netes, V. A. Two-sided probability estimate for the capacity of a bipolar network with unreliable elements. (English. Russian original) Zbl 0921.90078 Autom. Summary: A method of computing two-sided probability estimates for guaranteeing a desired capacity of a two-pole network of arbitrary structure with unreliable elements is designed. The method is based on the use of reducible networks, which have junctions and direct-link edges. Expansion formulas are introduced for these networks. An example is given to illustrate computations.
