Global solution of the isothermal viscous gas equation in the half-space subject to a large external force derived from a potential. (Solution globale de l’equation d’un gaz visqueux isotherme dans le demi-espace assujetti à une grande force extérieure dérivant d’un potentiel.) (French) Zbl 0928.35130

This paper states a theorem of global existence for a system of equations which define a simplified model describing the motion of viscous gas with a constant temperature, a pressure proportional to density, and subject to an external force ruled by a potential function. The proof is based upon six complex functional inequalities which are the core of the study.
