Rescaled particle systems converging to super-Brownian motion. (English) Zbl 0941.60095

Bramson, Maury (ed.) et al., Perplexing problems in probability. Festschrift in honor of Harry Kesten. Boston: Birkhäuser. Prog. Probab. 44, 269-284 (1999).
Summary: Super-Brownian motion was originally constructed as a scaling limit of branching random walk. Here we describe recent results which show that, in two or more dimensions, it is also the limit of long range contact processes and long, short, and medium range voter models.
