Substable and pseudo-isotropic processes. Connections with the geometry of subspaces of \(L_\alpha\)-spaces. (English) Zbl 0948.46013

A detailed study of spherically (or, more generally, elliptically) isotropic measures in linear spaces. The author uses a probabilistic language. Applications to geometry of linear spaces and stochastic processes are given. A number of remarkable generalizations of known results belongs to the author.
