Numerical analysis of coupling for a kinetic equation. (English) Zbl 0948.76073
Summary: We introduce a systems of kinetic equations for the linearized Carleman model. We then study the existence and asymptotic behaviour of the solution of the resulting coupled problem. In order to solve the coupled problem, we use a time-marching algorithm for which we prove a convergence result. Numerical examples confirming the theory are presented.
