The main goal is to describe the natural connection between wavelet analysis and the renormalization group formalism. The book also contains other themes like Osterwalder-Schrader positivity, combinatorial description of cluster expansions, construction of wavelets from a pure mathematical point of view. This book is mainly for mathematical physicists.
