Linearization regions for a determination of a calibration curve. (English) Zbl 0952.62066

Summary: A calibration problem can be described by a regression model with constraints on parameters. These constraints are nonlinear and thus linearization procedures have been used. The problem is to find the conditions under which the linearization does not affect the unbiasedness of the estimation significantly.
