Parameter identification in classes of neutral differential equations with state-dependent delays. (English) Zbl 0955.34067
The authors consider neutral functional-differential equations of the form \[ {d\over dt} (x(t)+ q(t)w(t- \tau(t, x(t))))= f(t,x(t), x(t- \sigma(t, x(t)))),\quad t\in [0,T], \]
\[ x(t)= \varphi(t),\quad t\in [-r,0],\quad x\in\mathbb{R}^n, \] and establish theoretical convergence of a Euler-type approximation scheme, based on equations with piecewise constant arguments, for approximate solutions to corresponding parameter identification problems.
There are some numerical examples illustrating the authors’ identification method.
