Moudafi, Abdellatif Proximal point algorithm extended to equilibrium problems. (English) Zbl 0974.65066 J. Nat. Geom. 15, No. 1-2, 91-100 (1999). Summary: Using monotone bifunctions, we propose and analyze a proximal method for solving general equilibrium problems. This amounts to studying a large number of problems arising in mathematical economics, optimization and operation research in a general and unified way. Our results include several previously known results as special cases.
