Morphological analysis and variational formulation in heterogeneous thermoelasticity. (English) Zbl 0983.74017

The paper deals with morphological analysis applied to composite heterogeneous thermoelastic materials, and with a generalization of Hashin-Shtrikman variational principles to thermoelasticity. Applications are given to \(n\)-phase composites. Some passages would have benefitted from a more careful explanation, both as far as language and theoretical aspects are concerned.
