Relatively subparacompact spaces. (English) Zbl 0985.54033
The authors provide definitions for a subset $$Y$$ to be 1-subparacompact resp. 2-subparacompact resp. $$1^*$$-subparacompact in a space $$X$$. These notions coincide with the usual notion of subparacompactness in the case that $$Y=X$$. In the following the relationships between relative subparacompactness and some other known relative properties (e.g. proper metrizability and relative paracompactness) are investigated.
