Instantaneous and noninstantaneous dissolution: Approximation by the finite volume method. (English) Zbl 1020.65052
Authors’ summary: This paper is devoted to the study of finite volume schemes for nonlinear dissolution-diffusion equations. The approximate solution is shown to converge to the continuous one, which is also shown to converge in the limit of instantaneous dissolution. The scheme is applied to the interpretation of an experiment of leaching of cement concrete.
