Optimal evasion from a persuer guided by the proportional navigation method. (English. Russian original) Zbl 1023.49029

The authors propose to use a nonlinear kinematic model in the investigation of the plane problem on optimal evasion from a persuer guided by the method of proportional navigation. The Pontryagin’s maximum principle is used and a lower estimate of the evasion time is established.
