On the matrix method in the theory of wave propagation in layered Biot media. (English. Russian original) Zbl 1028.74029

Summary: Wave propagation in porous Biot media with homogeneous isotropic layers is investigated by matrix method. In order to use this method, we introduce matrices describing porous layer and half-spaces. On the basis of these matrices, the wave fields in layered porous media are examined. We also find matrices of inhomogeneous porous layers which are represented by convergent series.
