The authors study the periodic homogenization problem for Hamilton-Jacobi equations on the Heisenberg group in the case fast of oscillating Hamiltonians. The solutions considered are viscosity solutions. The limit problem is identified and an estimate of the rate of convergence to the solution of the limit problem is also obtained.
