Bouchut, François; Golse, François; Pallard, Christophe Classical solutions and the Glassey-Strauss theorem for the 3D Vlasov-Maxwell system. (English) Zbl 1044.76075 Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 170, No. 1, 1-15 (2003). Summary: R. Glassey and W. Strauss have proved [Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal. 92, 59–90 (1986; Zbl 0595.35072)] that \(C ^{1}\) solutions to the relativistic Vlasov-Maxwell system in three space dimensions do not develop singularities as long as the support of the distribution function in the momentum variable remains bounded. The present paper simplifies their proof.
