Statistical Gibbs or PoincarĂ© equilibria in systems with slowly changing parameters. (Russian) Zbl 1048.82002
The author studies an ideal collisionless gas inside a rectangular vessel with absolutely elastic walls. Two problems are investigated. The first one concerns the probability of an approximate statistical equilibrium at slow changes of parameters. The second one concerns sustainability of equilibrium at slow motions of the vessel walls.
