In the recent time the thermal kernel of an operator and the coefficients of the thermal kernel have wide applications in mathematical and theoretical physics. One of the last important applications is connected with quantum field theory in curvilinear spaces. Here a procedure for calculating the coefficients of the thermal kernel is proposed. By use of the procedure an expression for any of the coefficients of the thermal kernel of the Laplace operator in curved space-time can be found.
