Model. 16, No. 6, 97-100 (2004). The influence of volume absorbing energy streams on a composite material is accompanied by nonuniform heating up of its components. A correct evaluation of such influence on composites with characteristic sizes of components supposes a consideration of the heat transfer between the components. Here, a mathematical model of a multicomponent medium is proposed for the investigation of the origin of a thermal equilibrium state between particles of the filling and the binder of the composite material. It is found that the time of the thermal relaxation is 0,1,…,10 ms depending on the composite structure.
