Distribution-free tests for vague data. (English) Zbl 1064.62052
López-Díaz, Miguel (ed.) et al., Soft methodology and random information systems. Collection of papers presented at the 2nd international conference on soft methods in probability and statistics (SMPS’2004), Oviedo, Spain, September 2–4, 2004. Summary: Generalizations of some nonparametrie tests for vague data are suggested. These tests have many advantages: they are simple for use and they do not require specific assumptions on the underlying populations which are often difficult to verify when data are vague.
