Solution to the kinetic equation in the problem of computing the heat flux between coaxial cylinders. (Russian, English) Zbl 1072.80001

Summary: The problem of computing the heat flux between coaxial cylinders is considered. Numerical results are presented for the Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook model and the Boltzmann collision integral. A general expression (independent of the form of the kinetic equation or the method for its solution) is given for the heat flux as a function of the energy accommodation coefficient. The numerical results are compared with experimental data and previously obtained results.
