Elizarova, T. G.; Milyukova, O. Yu. Numerical modeling of the flow of a viscous incompressible fluid in a cubic cavity. (Russian, English) Zbl 1079.76050 Zh. Vychisl. Mat. Mat. Authors’ summary: The results of numerical simulations of the three-dimensional isothermal viscous incompressible flow in a cavity with a moving lid are presented. The system of quasi-hydrodynamic equations is used as a mathematical model. Computations were performed on a distributed-memory multiprocessor parallel computer. Parallel computation of Poisson’s equation is discussed in detail. Numerical results obtained for the Reynolds numbers 100 and 1000 on progressively refined grids are presented.
