On the solution of the equation of the flow of an incompressible fluid in a three-dimensional confined aquifer with partially penetrating wells. (Russian. English summary) Zbl 1087.76512

As a rule in solving inverse hydrodynamical problems it is necessary to solve many times the direct problems. These are usually solved with given debits of wells and for minimization of the error functional it is necessary to know the well pressure. A new numerical method of solution of the flow equation in a three-dimensional confined aquifer with a large number of partially penetrating wells is proposed in the article. A specific characteristic of the method proposed is the thickening of the grids near the wells.
