Periodic solutions of nonlinear second-order difference equations. (English) Zbl 1098.39004

The existence of numerous particular cases solutions to the delay difference equation of the form \(y(t+2)+by(t+1)+cy(t)=f(y(t))\) \(t=0,1, 2,3,\dots\), where \(c\neq 0\) and \(uf(u)>0\) whenever \(|u|\geq\beta>0\) and \(b\) and \(c\) are real constants and \(f\) is a realvalued, continuous function is considered.
