A domain whose envelope of holomorphy is not a domain. (English) Zbl 1109.32008
The author presents a beautiful example of a domain $$\Omega\subset\mathbb C^N$$, $$N\geq2$$, whose envelope of holomorphy $$\Omega^\ast$$ (understood as a Riemann domain $$\pi:\Omega^\ast\to\mathbb C^N$$ spread over $$\mathbb C^N$$) is not biholomorphic to a domain in $$\mathbb C^N$$.
