Solution method of three-dimensional nonlinear flow equation in a confined aquifer with partially penetrating wells. (Russian. English summary) Zbl 1109.76379

Domain decomposition methods (DDM) are widely used nowadays for solving different types of PDE describing problems of hydrodynamics, hydromechanics etc. Here a variant of DDM is applied for the 3D filtration problem with use of grids narrowing in near well domains to the well boundaries. As a result the problem is described by a system of nonlinear equations of a large dimension and there is a necessity to use multi- processor computers and parallel algorithms of calculations.
