Elesin, A. V.; Mazurov, R. A. Minimization of a residual function by a quasi-gradient method for the identification of the hydraulic conductivity in case of a three-dimensional anisotropic aquifer. (Russian. English summary) Zbl 1113.76464 Mat. Model. 16, No. 8, 99-113 (2004). Two model problems of identification of 142 values of filtration coefficients of the 3D pressure inhomogeneous anisotropy stratum is considered. The filtration process is considered as a one phase stationary process and the filtration coefficient is determined by measuring the pressure in separate stratum points (observation points). A new quasi-gradient algorithm of the disclosure function minimization is proposed. A comparison of the results found by the quasi-gradient method and by known methods (steepest descent, conjugate gradients and Levenberg-Marquardt) is done. It is noted that the method proposed has faster speed of convergence in relation to the first two above mentioned methods and it is more stable in relation to errors by comparison with the third method.
