Some uniqueness results on meromorphic functions sharing three sets. (English) Zbl 1130.30027

Summary: We discuss the uniqueness of meromorphic functions when they share three sets with the notion of weighted sharing and improve two results of I. Lahiri and A. Banerjee [Kyungpook Math. J. 44, No. 4, 575–584 (2004; Zbl 1070.30015)] and H.-X. Yi and W.-C. Lin [Proc. Japan Acad., Ser. A 80, No. 7, 136–140 (2004; Zbl 1112.30028)]. We also improve a recent result of the present author [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 327, No. 2, 1273–1283 (2007; Zbl 1115.30029)] and thus provide an answer to a question of Gross, in a new direction.
