Robust mixed \(H_2/H_\infty\) state-feedback control for continuous-time descriptor systems with parameter uncertainties. (English) Zbl 1136.93338

Summary: The problem of robust mixed \(H_2/H_\infty\) control for a class of continuous-time descriptor systems with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties is investigated. Sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities are given for the existence of a state-feedback controller that minimizes an upper bound of the \(H_2\)-norm of the transfer matrix system to an \(H_\infty\)-norm constraint. A numerical example is given to show the potential of the proposed methods.
