(English) Zbl 1141.54018 Filomat 21, No. 2, 211-234 (2007). Using an implicit relation and the (E. A)-property, introduced by M. Aamri and D. El Moutawakil [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 270, No. 1, 181–188 (2002; Zbl 1008.54030)], the authors prove a common fixed point theorem for four mappings. This theorem generalizes and improves some known results. Several examples clarify the importance of the property (E. A) and weak compatibility.
