Pérez Vidal, Lluís; Brunet Crosa, Pere Adaptive contour generation. (Generació adaptativa de contorns de nivell.) (Catalan. Spanish summary) Zbl 1167.68457 Qüestiió 11, No. 3, 87-101 (1987). Summary: Mappings are constructed including level contours using a set of points given by their coordinates. There are several analytical formulations to define an interpolating function. In this paper we propose a variant of the formulation of Little that can serve to improve its performance locally. In order to study their performance we describe alternatives by presenting four examples.
