Delay-dependent stability of neural networks of neutral type with time delay in the leakage term. (English) Zbl 1196.82102

A special class of neural networks of neutral type with mixed delays including leakage delays, time-varying delays and continuously distributed delays is considered. Under some assumptions regarding the activation function, delay kernel and interconnection matrices, one proves that the considered model has a unique equilibrium point. Further a sufficient condition for the global asymptotical stability of this point is indicated. Lyapunov-Krasovski functional and LMI (linear matrix inequality) techniques are used. Two numerical examples are shown.
