Dinca, George; Mawhin, Jean A constructive fixed point approach to the existence of a triangle with prescribed angle bisector lengths. (English) Zbl 1202.51013 Bull. Belg. Math. Soc. - Simon Stevin 17, No. 2, 333-341 (2010). In the paper under review, a new solution of the three bisector problem is given by the use of Banach fixed point theorem. In other words, it is shown the existence of a triangle with prescribed interior bisector lengths. Many historical remarks are included.
