Data dependence for Ishikawa iteration when dealing with contractive-like operators. (English) Zbl 1205.47059
In this paper, the authors prove a convergence result as well as a data dependence result for Ishikawa iterations when applied to contractive-like operators.
Reviewer’s remark: The inequality $$1-x\leq\exp(x)$$ on p. 3 is not correctly stated; it should be $$1-x\leq\exp(-x)$$. This inequality relation is a very powerful tool for establishing convergence results.
