Fu, Haiming; Dai, Zhengde Periodic soliton wave solutions for two-dimension S-K equation. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1212.35384 J. Xuzhou Norm. Univ., Nat. Sci. 27, No. 4, 19-21 (2009). Summary: Hirota method proposed recently is extended to construct more exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. To be more precise, new test function is used instead of test function in Hirota method. By using the extended Hirota method, the two-dimension Sawaka-Kotera equation is solved to get an abundance of exact mixed-solutions with periodic and hyperbolic functions. Obviously, the extended Hirota method can be applied to solve other type of nonlinear evolution equations as well.
