A class of symbols of pseudodifferential operators on \(\mathbb R^n\) is introduced, allowing growth in the phase space of order \(\exp| \xi| ^\gamma\), where \(0<\gamma<1\). It does not include all polynomials. This class is used to establish an isomorphism between certain modulation spaces.
